Hippodrome Rewards Terms & Conditions

1. REGISTRATION

1.1. Membership of the Hippodrome Rewards Programme (the “Programme”) is free. Registration to the Programme is not compulsory or automatic.
1.2. It is the individuals responsibility to request registration to join the Programme.
Membership of the Programme is for individuals only.
1.3. Only one membership to the Programme per person is permitted.
Individuals electing to register for membership of the Programme must provide valid photographic identification (either a valid driving licence, a valid passport or a valid government issued ID card), name, address and occupation details that will be recorded on the Hippodrome customer management system.
1.4. By registering to the Programme individuals will be asked which promotions they wish to receive marketing materials for and by which format including but not restricted to, email, mail, mobile phone, SMS and telephone. The Hippodrome Newsletter Terms and Conditions are available here.
1.5. It is the individuals responsibility to notify Hippodrome Casino of any changes to their details, including, but not limited to, their change of name and address and marketing preferences.
1.6. The details of all Members are kept in files administered by: The Data Controller, Hippodrome Casino Ltd., Cranbourn Street, Leicester Square, London, WC2H 7JH and will be used for company purposes only.
1.7. Individuals can opt out of the Programme at their request. Any points or benefits remaining not claimed will be forfeited.
1.8. Any opted-out customers who re-join the Programme will not be able to reinstate any past accrued points at the time of opt out. No points or membership level credits will be earned on any reward transaction.
1.9. In the event of bankruptcy or insolvency, this will result in cancellation of the Programme membership. Any outstanding points must be redeemed immediately.
1.10. In the event of death, this will result in cancellation of the Programme membership and forfeiture of the available points balance.
1.11. In the event of outstanding monies owed to the Hippodrome Casino, the programme benefits may be suspended pending payment of the outstanding debt.
1.12. Hippodrome Casino reserves the right to deny or withdraw any participation in the Programme or a customers’ application.
1.13. Hippodrome Casino reserves the right to modify or cancel this Programme at any time, for any reason.
1.14. No correspondence will be entered into regarding either this scheme or these Terms and Conditions. All decisions regarding these terms and conditions lie solely with Hippodrome Casino, whose decisions are final and binding.

2. WHO CANNOT REGISTER

2.1. Customers under 18 years of age cannot participate in the Programme or complete a pre-registration form.
2.2. Individuals who are excluded from casino facilities, including through a government programme, by their own request, or those excluded by Hippodrome Casino are not eligible for the Programme and cannot complete a pre-registration form.
2.3. Customers who become excluded through a government programme, by their own request, or are excluded by Hippodrome Casino will have their Programme membership level, membership level credits and available points balance cancelled.
2.4. Individuals excluded from casino facilities through SENSE (operated by The National Casino Forum) are not eligible. Any existing points balance will be cancelled and forfeit accordingly.
2.5. Employees of the Hippodrome Casino are not eligible for the Programme.

3. CUSTOMER DATA

3.1. Use of the customers data is subject to Hippodrome Casino’s privacy policy. The customers use of the Hippodrome Casino web site is subject to Hippodrome Casino’s website terms and conditions. The customers use of the Hippodrome Casino Member Application is subject to Hippodrome Casino’s Member Application terms and conditions.

4. PRE-REGISTRATION

4.1. To reduce customers time while registering in the casino we may offer facilities for non-membership customers to pre-register some of their details remotely in advance.
4.2. Completing a pre-registration form does not guarantee acceptance into the programme.
4.3. Pre-registration data provided must be accurate and true to the best of the customers knowledge.
4.4. See clause 2 for people who are not permitted to complete a pre-registration form.
4.5. We may choose to modify at our discretion any data provided as part of any pre-registration at time of completing membership to ensure it is accurate.

5. EARNING POINTS

5.1. Points and membership level credits are awarded subject to system availability.
5.2. Customers must produce their card at time of visit to earn points and membership level credits.
5.3. Customers can earn points and membership level credits at the roulette and card tables by handing their card to the dealer when joining the game. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that an Inspector is furnished with their Scheme Card and identity when playing table games.
5.4. For table gaming, points can be accrued on members tracked table play but may be calculated at the Hippodromes sole discretion, either on the basis of actual play or on the basis of an average bet for the table. In either case the calculation of points earned takes account of the period of time recorded as spent at the table. The average bet for the table is derived from the table minimum bet and so may vary for each table and game type.
5.5. To earn points and membership level credits for electronic gaming the card must be placed in the machine prior to gambling and left in there during play. It is the customers’ responsibility to ensure the card is inserted properly in the machine.
5.6. Customers must gamble on a machine to earn points and membership level credits (buying in and cashing out will not earn points).
5.7. Points are valid for a maximum period of 13 months from the date that they are awarded.
5.8. Membership level credits are earned January 1 – June 30 and July 1 – December 31.
5.9. Membership level credits will reset to zero at the beginning of each period.
5.10. Expired points cannot be reclaimed at any time.
5.11. The Hippodrome Casino reserves the right to vary the level of points awarded at its discretion. In exercising this right the Hippodrome shall procure (where points are directly or indirectly concerned with or connected to gaming) that
(i) accrual and redemption shall be proportionate to a members play over a prolonged period of time;
(ii) accrual and redemption is not dependent on a member gambling for a pre-determined length of time or frequency;
(iii) accrual and redemption does not reward points accrued over a shorter period of time;
(iv) any increase in points linked to spend is proportionate; and
(v) any accrual or redemption connected to ancillary benefits (e.g. subsidised travel or accommodation) is not directly related to the members level of gaming.
5.12. Should there be a dispute; Hippodrome Casino’s decision will be final and binding in respect of discrepancies.
5.13. Points and membership level credits cannot be added retrospectively.
5.14. Hippodrome Casino reserves the right to adjust an account due to computer error, machine malfunction, operator error, fraud or other misuse of the card.
5.15. Prize draw points will automatically be credited to a customer’s account.
5.16. Points and membership level credits can only be earned and redeemed at the Hippodrome Casino.
5.17. The benefits of the Programme are intended for the sole use of the person listed on the account.
5.18. Points can be earned for all tracked slot/electronic machines, roulette and card tables, restaurant, bar and entertainment.
5.19. The Hippodrome Casino will endeavour to track customer play however the customer must acknowledge that this process is subject to human error. The Hippodrome’s decision on points awarded will be final.
5.20. Points cannot be earned or redeemed whilst in breach of the T&Cs.
5.21. The Hippodrome Casino reserves the right to suspend or cancel points if it is found that the customer is in breach of its terms and conditions.
5.22. The Hippodrome Casino reserves the right to suspend the right to redeem points or use membership benefits if the customer has an outstanding debt to the casino.
5.23. Points will be forfeited if an account lays dormant for 6 months.
5.24. Membership level credits can be earned for all tracked slot/electronic machines, roulette and card tables.
5.25. All benefits and rewards are subject to availability.
5.26. Points and benefits are not transferable, including but not limited to upon death, divorce or insolvency.
5.27. At its sole discretion, the Hippodrome Casino may separately reward selected players money, goods, services or other advantage proportionate to the type and level of their gambling.

6. POINTS REDEMPTION

6.1. A customer’s identity must be verified prior to making a redemption
6.2. No reward or points can be exchanged or transferred for cash.
6.3. Membership level credits are not redeemable.
Customers can redeem their points for Table Gaming, Slots, Food, Beverage, Entertainment and Gifts.
6.4. The Hippodrome Casino reserves the right to refuse point redemption whilst the account is investigated.
6.5. Points redemptions for food, beverage, entertainment and gifts are subject to availability.
6.6. The management reserves the right to amend or change Programme redemptions at any time.
6.7. Any rewards that are redeemed and are subsequently lost are the sole responsibility of the customer.
6.8. Slots redemption tickets are eligible for play on any slots machine.
6.9. Should a slots redemption ticket become defaced or lost it cannot be replaced.
6.10. Hippodrome Casino cannot be held responsible for, or have any liability for, third party products and services

7. MEMBERSHIP LEVELS

7.1. There are 5 levels in the Programme;
Gold – 0 – 999 Membership level credits
Diamond – 1000 – 4999 Membership level credits
Platinum – 5000 – 19999 Membership level credits
Black – 20000+ Membership level credits
Tribune (by invitation only)
7.2. Membership level credits are earned January 1 – June 30 and July 1 – December 31.
7.3. Membership level credits will reset to 0 at the beginning of each period.
7.4. Members who are upgraded will be notified if the member has given permission to be contacted. If not, the Hippodrome will endeavour to inform a member on their next visit. Members can pick up their new card at reception. The current card will continue to earn points and membership level credits regardless of it matching the systems current membership level.
7.5. When a member is downgraded, they continue to earn points at the normal level regardless of the level of the card that is in possession of the customer. Redemptions for membership level benefits is based on the level in the system.
7.6. Hippodrome reserves all rights to downgrade membership level due to game malfunctions, error of inputting ratings, or any other misuse that has been discovered. Hippodrome also reserves the right to downgrade a customer for misuse of benefits.

8. MEMBERSHIP LEVEL REDEMPTIONS

8.1. A customers identity must be verified prior to making a redemption
8.2. No membership level benefits can be exchanged or transferred for cash.
8.3. Member must be currently in membership level to receive benefit
8.4. Benefits rewarded based on membership level in the system, not the membership level of the card currently in possession of the customer
8.5. To receive discounts for food and beverage, customer must present card at time of purchase to receive the following discount:
Gold – 10%
Diamond – 15%
Platinum – 20%
Black – 20%
Tribune – 25%
8.6. The discount does not apply to tobacco items.
8.7. The Hippodrome reserves the right to exclude other items from eligibility for redemption by points or from the discount.
8.8. To receive a complimentary birthday party, customers must contact a Customer Relations (“CR”) host for reservation up to membership level limit as follows:
Platinum – £250
Black – £500
Tribune – £1500
Complimentary birthday parties are subject to availability.
8.9. Complimentary parking is available at the Hippodrome’s discretion. The offer is only open to customers who have transacted during the equivalent parking voucher validity. To receive a voucher for complimentary parking, the redemption must be made at the Hippodrome Casino cash desk on the day the parking voucher is requested. Vouchers are issued for Q-Park China Town car park only. The customer will receive the voucher for the following complimentary parking:
Platinum – 3 hours
Black – 12 hours
Tribune – 12 hours
8.10. Nothing in these terms and conditions overrides the Q-Parks Terms and Conditions which are available here.
8.11. Black and Tribune level members are eligible for a bi-annual haircut/manicure/spa day. This can be booked through their host to the value below:
Black – £150
Tribune – £250
This benefit is subject to availability.

9. FLIGHT REDEMPTIONS

9.1. The Hippodrome Casino offers members a reimbursement on flights to stay at Club Liberte Seychelles and The D Las Vegas. Members must present a receipt for air travel for a Hippodrome Casino organised stay it Club Liberte or The D and will receive reimbursement up to the amount below:
Diamond – £100
Platinum – £200
Black – £300
Tribune – £500
9.2. Customers can only use this benefit once per calendar year.
9.3. Customers must stay at the designated hotels in order to claim their flight redemption.
9.4. Customers must contact a CR Host to make a reservation and receive free or discounted room rates.
9.5. Discounted room rates and room credit is at the discretion of Club Liberte and The D.
9.6. The member is subject to the T&Cs of the host venue.
9.7. The Hippodrome Casino must not be held responsible for any loss or injury which arises as a result of taking up this benefit.
9.8. This membership benefit is subject to availability.

10. USE OF PROGRAMME

10.1. Customers undertake:
a. to use the Programme for the customers own personal private use and not to use the Programme for any commercial purpose, whether for a fee or otherwise, or to distribute it commercially
b. not to use the Programme for any fraudulent, criminal or unlawful purpose
c. not to use the Programme for the transmission of any material which is defamatory, blasphemous, racist, offensive, obscene or otherwise unlawful
d. to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, not to copy, modify, adapt, reverse engineer, decompile, reformat, disclose, transmit, distribute, sell, license or transfer the Programme or any Programme Content, either in whole or in part, in any way save as expressly provided for in these terms and conditions
e. not to infringe either Hippodrome Casino’s or any other person’s intellectual property rights, including copyright, in the Programme and not to delete or amend any copyright or other proprietary notices which may appear therein
f. not to use the Programme in any way which Hippodrome Casino, in its absolute discretion, considers objectionable, injurious to its brand or reputation or otherwise unacceptable
g. not to use the Programme otherwise than in accordance with these terms and conditions
h. to use the Programme that the customer is 18 years old or older
i. not to share the Programme with anyone less than 18 years old
j. that the customer has not self-excluded from any casino within Great Britain
k. that the customer is not excluded from the Hippodrome Casino

11. LIABILITY

11.1 Hippodrome Casino makes no warranties or representations of any kind in relation to the Programme, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties or conditions of performance, completeness, suitability, safety, timeliness, accuracy, reliability, satisfactory quality and fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, except to the extent it is not possible by applicable law to exclude such things or to the extent such things are expressly contained in these terms and conditions.
11.2 Hippodrome Casino will not be liable for:
a. any technical or access issue, failure, malfunction or difficulty that might hinder or prevent a customers receipt of the Programme
b. any event which may cause the Programme to be disrupted
c. any inaccuracy or error within the Programme
d. any virus, Trojan horse, worm or other malicious or corrupted computer code or data files which may be transmitted as part of the Programme
11.3 Hippodrome Casino shall not be liable under or in connection with these terms and conditions for:
a. loss of actual or anticipated profit
b. losses caused by business interruption
c. loss of goodwill or reputation
d. any indirect, special or consequential cost, expense loss or damage, even if such cost, expense loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable or might reasonably have been contemplated by the parties and whether arising from breach of contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise.
11.4 Hippodrome Casino’s liability under or in connection with its provision of the Programme or these terms and conditions shall be limited to the provision of the Programme.

12. INDEMNITY

12.1 Customer agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Hippodrome Casino from and against any and all losses, costs, expenses (including reasonable legal fees), claims, damages and liabilities incurred by Hippodrome Casino arising out of or in connection with any claim by a third party resulting from the customers use of the Programme or from any violation of these terms and conditions by the customer, save where caused by Hippodrome Casino’s negligence or breach of these terms and conditions by Hippodrome Casino.

13. MODIFICATION, SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

13.1 Hippodrome Casino reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Programme, in whole or in part, at any time with or without notice
a. to repair or maintain the Programme
b. to update, upgrade or improve the Programme from time to time
c. due to the occurrence of any circumstances beyond Hippodrome Casino’s reasonable control
d. where Hippodrome Casino believes the customer is or may be in breach of these terms and conditions
e. otherwise, at Hippodrome Casino’s sole discretion

14. MISCELLANEOUS

14.1 If any provision of these terms and conditions is held for any reason to be ineffective or unenforceable, this shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision of these terms and conditions or these terms and conditions as a whole.
14.2 No waiver by Hippodrome Casino shall be construed as a waiver of any proceeding or succeeding breach of any provision.
14.3 A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions shall have no rights under or in connection with them by virtue of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

15. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

15.1 With respect to any material contained in or accessible via the Programme, all copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights therein is/are either owned by Hippodrome Casino or by the owners of such rights who have licensed such rights to Hippodrome Casino for use in the Programme.
15.2 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law and subject to the customers compliance with these terms and conditions, save for:
(i) transitory copying or storage and
(ii) for the customers personal private use, no part of the Programme may be copied, stored, used, uploaded, transmitted or distributed in any form or manner without the prior written consent of Hippodrome Casino, other than to the extent that such acts cannot be prohibited under applicable law.

16. GOVERNING LAW

16.1 These terms and conditions are governed by English law and the customer and Hippodrome Casino submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in respect of any dispute arising under or in relation to them.
