2. What are Website Accounts (Web Accounts)
2.1 Web accounts are a private area on www.hippodromecasino.com (our site) where you can manage various aspects of the data we have stored and access services we offer.
2.2 Web accounts can also be accessed using the Hippodrome Member App (our Member App) available from Apple App Store™ (Worldwide) and Google Play Store™ (UK only).

3. Opening a Web Account
3.1 You can open a new Web Account here, or via our Member App.
3.2 When opening an account your are required to enter your email address and create a password.
3.3 You should keep your email and password private.
3.4 Passwords must be created following the rules provided by us to help maintain security and protect your account from unauthorised access.
3.5 Your password is encrypted when stored so we cannot access your password.
3.6 You are responsible for all activity on your account, where the correct security information has been provided.
3.7 If you lose or forget your password or if you believe that a third party is aware of it, you should change the password immediately using the facilities we provide on our site or in our Member App.
3.8 If you forget your email address you should contact us immediately.
3.9 If another person accesses your account due to your error (for example, not keeping your email and password private or leaving your computer unattended without logging out) you are responsible for all their actions and any losses they may incur on your account.
3.10 When you open an account with us you are confirming that:
b. You are in a fit state of mind to do so and are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs (whether legal, prescribed or otherwise).
c. You are at least 18 years of age.
d. You are not restricted from opening an account due to local restrictions or laws.
e. You are accessing the website from a permitted jurisdiction.
f. You are acting for yourself and not on behalf of anyone else and will only use our site and/or our Member App for lawful purposes and in a lawful manner and not in a way that could be considered discriminatory, defamatory, abusive or obscene or which could reasonably cause offence.
g. You will only have one Web Account for the website at any one time.
h. You do not have problem gambling issues.
i. You have not have enrolled in the Hippodrome Casino local self-exclusion scheme.
j. You are not registered with the self–exclusion service provided by SENSE (Self-Enrolment National Self-Exclusion).
k. The details that you have provided us with are true, correct and complete and you will inform us of any changes to the information you have provided.
l. You will not use, or allow any other person to use, our site or our Member App for fraudulent purposes, or in connection with a criminal offence or other unlawful activity and in any way which could be considered discriminatory, defamatory, abusive, obscene or which could reasonably cause offence, loss or damage to others.
m. If you are an employee, worker or contractor of Hippodrome Casino Limited, you are permitted to do so by Hippodrome Casino Limited in line with the terms of your contract.
4. Proof of Age
4.1 To register with us you must be at least 18 years of age.
4.2 We may request proof of age and residency documentation from you at any time which you agree to provide to us promptly.
5. Geographical Restrictions
5.1 It is your responsibility to comply at all times with your own local, national or state laws.
5.2 The availability of the website does not constitute an offer, solicitation or invitation by us for the use of or subscription to betting, gaming or other services in any jurisdiction.
5.3 We may take appropriate measures to restrict access to our site, Web Accounts and / or our Member App at our discretion.
5.4 You agree not to attempt to circumvent our controls and restrictions relating to minimum age.
5.5 We reserve the right to terminate your account and refuse any use of our services if we know or reasonably suspect that you are under 18.
6. Linking Hippodrome Rewards Membership with Web Account
6.1 When opening a Web Account on our site or our Member App we will automatically attempt to link it to your Hippodrome Rewards Membership account if you have one using the data you provide to us when opening your Web Account.
6.2 We also provide a facility to link your Web Account to your Hippodrome Rewards Membership account as part of the Web Account opening process and if your accounts are not linked automatically. This requires your Hippodrome Rewards Membership number and your date of birth.
6.3 Where your Web Account is linked to your Hippodrome Rewards Membership account, data we have stored as part of your Hippodrome Rewards Membership account will take precedence over any other data provided as part of your Web Account where there is a conflict. For this reason it is important and your responsibility to ensure that your Hippodrome Rewards Membership account data is up to date and correct.
7. Web Account Services
7.1 We offer Web Account services for your convenience only.
7.2 We reserve the right to withdraw or alter any service available through Web Accounts either on our site or through our Member App without notice or warning.
7.3 We may choose to offer different services to users viewing Web Accounts on our site to users viewing Web Accounts via our Member App.
7.4 We will endeavour to provide our site and Web Account services using reasonable skill and care but we do not accept liability for errors or malfunctions. Neither we nor our suppliers accept any liability for errors or malfunctions on our site or our Member App or any other element of our service. Errors and malfunctions may include but are not limited to human error, misstatements, omissions, system, technical or communication delays, interruptions, malfunctions or failures, data non-delivery, mis-delivery or corruption, hacking, bugs or viruses or events outside of our reasonable control.
7.5 Separate Terms & Conditions may apply to service and facilities provided as part of our Web Accounts. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are aware and comply with all of the Terms & Conditions of services that we offer either through our Web Accounts, Hippodrome Rewards Membership or our site.
8. Closing a Web Account
8.1 We reserve the right to close your account or withdraw the website at any time and we will use reasonable endeavours to notify you of such closure or withdrawal.
8.2 You may close your account at any time by notifying us.
9. Limitations on Liability
9.1 We have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, loss of business opportunity, loss of use of or corruption of software or data or damage to goodwill or reputation.
9.2 We will not be liable for the conduct of any third party or customer, including anything said or done by them which may be discriminatory, defamatory, abusive or obscene or which could cause offence.
10.1 You shall not use (other than for its specified purpose), interfere with, copy, modify, decode, reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile, translate, convert or create derivative works from any software provided to you by us and/or any third party or attempt to do so.
11.1 You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Hippodrome Casino from and against any and all losses, costs, expenses (including reasonable legal fees), claims, damages and liabilities incurred by Hippodrome Casino arising out of or in connection with any claim by a third party resulting from your use of the web account service or from any violation of these terms and conditions by you, save where caused by Hippodrome Casino’s negligence or breach of these terms and conditions by Hippodrome Casino.
12.1 If any provision of these terms and conditions is held for any reason to be ineffective or unenforceable, this shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision of these terms and conditions or these terms and conditions as a whole.
12.2 No waiver by Hippodrome Casino shall be construed as a waiver of any proceeding or succeeding breach of any provision.
13.3 A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions shall have no rights under or in connection with them by virtue of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
13.1 We may periodically make changes to the contents of the Web Accounts service, including to the descriptions and services advertised, at any time and without notice. We assume no liability or responsibility for any errors or omissions in the content of the Web Accounts service.
13.2 We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time without notice. The revised Terms & Conditions will be posted here and shall take effect from the date of such posting. You are advised to review these Terms & Conditions periodically as they are binding upon you.
14. Governing Law
14.1 These terms and conditions are governed by English law and you and Hippodrome Casino submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in respect of any dispute arising under or in relation to them.
