Hippodrome Rewards Terms & Conditions

1. REGISTRATION

1.1. Membership of the Hippodrome Rewards Programme (the “Programme”) is free. Participation and registration into the Programme is not compulsory or automatic.
1.2. It is the customer’s responsibility to request to join the Programme. Membership of the Programme is for individual customers only.
1.3. Only one membership of the Programme per customer is permitted. Customers electing to register for membership of the Programme must provide valid photographic identification (either a valid driving licence, a valid passport or a valid government issued ID card), name, address and occupation details that will be recorded on the Hippodrome Rewards customer management system.
1.4. By registering to the Programme customers will be asked which promotions they wish to receive marketing materials for and by which format including but not restricted to, email, mail, mobile phone, SMS, and telephone. The Hippodrome Rewards Newsletter terms and conditions are available here.
1.5. Customers can opt out of receiving marketing, or contact through specific methods such as email, mail, mobile phone, SMS, and telephone by visiting any Welcome Desk to update preferences at any time.
1.6. It is the customer’s responsibility to notify The Hippodrome of any changes to their personal details including, but not limited to, their change of name, address and marketing preferences.
1.7. The Hippodrome will on occasion request further identification documentation where any existing identification held has expired to ensure compliance with regulations.
1.8. The details of all members of the Programme are kept in files administered by: The Data Controller, Hippodrome Casino Limited, Cranbourn Street, Leicester Square, London, WC2H 7JH and will be used for the purposes of the Hippodrome Rewards only.
1.9. Customers can opt out of the Programme at their written request. Any rewards points or membership benefits remaining unclaimed will be forfeited.
1.10. Any opted-out customers who rejoin the Programme will not be able to reinstate any previously accrued rewards points at the time of opt out. No rewards points or membership level credits will be earned on any reward transaction during periods of opt-out.
1.11. In the event of customer bankruptcy or insolvency, membership of the Programme will be suspended, and any outstanding rewards points balance will be forfeited.
1.12. In the event of death, Programme membership will be cancelled, and any outstanding rewards points balance will be forfeited.
1.13. In the event of outstanding monies owed to The Hippodrome by the customer, the Programme benefits may be suspended pending payment of the outstanding debt.
1.14. Hippodrome Rewards reserves the right to deny or withdraw any participation in the Programme or decline a customer’s application.
1.15. Hippodrome Rewards reserves the right to modify or cancel the Programme at any time, for any reason.
1.16. No correspondence will be entered into regarding either the Programme or these terms and conditions. All decisions regarding these terms and conditions lie solely with The Hippodrome, whose decisions are final and binding.

2. PROHIBITED REGISTRATIONS

2.1. Customers under 18 years of age cannot register or participate in the Programme.
2.2. Customers who voluntary self-exclude or who are excluded from The Hippodrome, are not eligible to register or participate in the Programme.
2.3. Registered customers who voluntary self-exclude or who are excluded, suspended or barred from The Hippodrome will have their Programme membership level, membership level credits, rewards benefits and available rewards points balance cancelled.
2.4. Customers who self-exclude through SENSE (operated by The Betting and Gaming Council) are not eligible to register or participate in the Programme. Any existing rewards points balance and membership benefits will be cancelled.
2.5. Employees of The Hippodrome are not eligible to register or participate in the Programme.

3. CUSTOMER DATA

3.1. Use of customer’s data is subject to the Hippodrome Rewards privacy policy. The customer’s use of The Hippodrome website is subject to The Hippodrome’s website terms and conditions which can be found here. Customer’s use of the Hippodrome Rewards Member Application is subject to The Hippodrome’s Member Application terms and conditions which can be found here.

4. PRE-REGISTRATION

4.1. Hippodrome Rewards may offer facilities for customers to pre-register some of their details remotely in advance.
4.2. Completing a pre-registration does not guarantee acceptance into the Programme.
4.3. Pre-registration data provided must be accurate and true to the best of the customer’s knowledge.
4.4. Unused pre-registration data will be automatically destroyed after 6 months.

5. EARNING REWARDS POINTS

5.1. The Hippodrome Rewards Programme has been risk assessed in line with the industry code and Gambling Commission guidance to ensure that:
(i) Incentivisation methods do not encourage risk behaviours such as chasing losses, excessive time or money spent gambling, or accelerating frequency of gambling.
(ii) The timing of incentives is not linked to periods of excessive play or significant losses, in proportion to the customer’s affordability of spend.
(iii) Information held on individual customer’s habits and preferences will be used for responsible incentivisation, which is only conducted alongside appropriate consumer protections.
(iv) Incentives are proportionate to a customer’s spending pattern and consistent with affordability and vulnerability assessment.
(v) Tiered or structured incentive schemes are not promoted to customers in a manner which results in individuals gambling excessively to obtain (or retain) a grade or status of HVC (High Value Customer) which is unsustainable.
(vi) Where necessary, an interaction may take place to assess affordability where documentation may be required to support the level of gambling before any further benefits are awarded.
5.2. Rewards points and membership level credits are awarded subject to system availability.
5.3. Customers must produce their Hippodrome Rewards card at the time of visit to earn rewards points and membership level credits.
5.4. Customers can earn rewards points and membership level credits at the gaming tables by handing their Hippodrome Rewards card to the dealer when joining a game. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that they hand their Hippodrome Rewards card to the dealer when playing table games.
5.5. Rewards points can be accrued on customer’s tracked table play on the gaming tables and are calculated at Hippodrome Rewards sole discretion. Rewards points may be calculated on the basis of actual play and/or on the basis of the customer’s average bet, the length of time the customer plays and the games played.
5.6. To earn rewards points and membership level credits for electronic gaming the customer’s Hippodrome Rewards card must be inserted into the card reader prior to gambling and remain there during play. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the card is inserted correctly in the machine.
5.7. Rewards points and membership level credits will be earned by electronic gaming play, not via buying in and cashing out.
5.8. Rewards points will automatically expire after 183 days of inactivity. Hippodrome Rewards cards must be presented on each visit to validate and record the customer’s activity to avoid expiration of rewards points.
5.9. Expired rewards points cannot be reclaimed.
5.10. Hippodrome Rewards reserves the right to vary the level of rewards points awarded at its sole discretion. In exercising this right Hippodrome Rewards shall procure (where rewards points are directly or indirectly connected to gaming) that:
(i) Accrual and redemption shall be proportionate to a customer’s play over a period of time.
(ii) Accrual and redemption is not dependent on a customer gambling for a pre-determined length of time or frequency.
(iii) Accrual and redemption does not give greater value to rewards points accrued over a shorter period of time.
(iv) Any increase in rewards points linked to spend is proportionate.
(v) Any accrual or redemption connected to ancillary benefits (e.g. subsidised travel or accommodation) is not directly related to the customer’s level of gaming.
5.11. In the event of a dispute; Hippodrome Reward’s decision will be final and binding.
5.12. Rewards points and membership level credits cannot be added retrospectively.
5.13. Hippodrome Rewards reserves the right to adjust a rewards points account due to computer error, machine malfunction, operator error, fraud, or other misuse.
5.14. Prize draw rewards points will be credited to a customer’s account. Each prize draw will have specific terms and conditions available at any Welcome Desk, for the duration of the promotion.
5.15. Rewards points and membership level credits can only be earned and redeemed at The Hippodrome.
5.16. The benefits of the Programme are intended for the sole use of the customer registered as the account holder.
5.17. Rewards points can be earned for all tracked slot/electronic machines, roulette and card tables, restaurant, bar, and entertainment excluding the purchase of theatre tickets.
5.18. Hippodrome Rewards will endeavour to track customer play as accurately as possible but accepts no liability for any errors however so caused. Hippodrome Rewards decision regarding rewards points awarded will be final.
5.19. Rewards points cannot be earned or redeemed whilst the customer is in breach of the Programme’s terms and conditions.
5.20. Hippodrome Rewards reserves the right to suspend or cancel rewards points if it is found that the customer is in breach of its terms and conditions.
5.21. Hippodrome Rewards reserves the right to suspend the right to redeem rewards points or use membership benefits if the customer has an outstanding debt.
5.22. Rewards points will be forfeited if an account is dormant for 183 days.
5.23. Hippodrome Rewards reserves the right to vary the rate at which rewards points and membership level credits are awarded at its sole discretion.
5.24. All benefits and rewards are subject to availability.
5.25. Rewards points and membership benefits are non-transferable.
5.26. At its sole discretion, Hippodrome Rewards may separately reward selected players money, goods, services, or other advantage proportionate to the type and level of their gambling.

6. REWARDS POINTS REDEMPTION

6.1. Customers can redeem their rewards points for Table Gaming, Slots, Food, Beverage, Entertainment and Merchandise.
6.2. A customer’s identity must be verified prior to making any redemption.
6.3. Rewards points cannot be exchanged or transferred for cash.
6.4. Hippodrome Rewards reserves the right to refuse a rewards points redemption whilst the account is under investigation.
6.5. Rewards points redemptions for food, beverage, entertainment, and merchandise are subject to availability.
6.6. Merchandise orders may take up to 28 days to be delivered.
6.7. Customers must have sufficient rewards points available to make redemptions.
6.8. Refunds or exchanges are at the sole discretion of Hippodrome Rewards.
6.9. Opened or damaged items will not be refunded or exchanged.
6.10. Orders for merchandise must be placed at any Welcome Desk, through a CR (Customer Relations) Manager.
6.11. Hippodrome Rewards reserves the right to amend or change Programme redemptions at any time.
6.12. Any rewards points that are redeemed and are subsequently lost are the sole responsibility of the customer.
6.13. Slots redemption tickets are eligible for play on participating slots or electronic gaming machines.
6.14. Should a Slots redemption ticket become defaced or lost it cannot be replaced.
6.15. Hippodrome Rewards cannot be held responsible for, or have any liability for, third party products and services.

7. SUPER ODDS GAMING CHIP

7.1. When a Super Odds Gaming chip wins it is paid at 100 x the relevant multiple.
7.2. Gaming staff will determine the maximum and minimum Super Odds Gaming chip stakes in accordance with the posted table limits.
7.3. Winning Super Odds Gaming chip bets will be paid with cash chips (or wheel chips on roulette) at the appropriate odds.
7.4. Super Odds Gaming chips can be used on any casino game with the exception of:
(i) Casino War;
(ii) Betting Player and Banker simultaneously on Baccarat;
(iii) Even Chance bets on Roulette;
(iv) Where the full value of the chip is not used for an individual wager; or
(v) In cash or competition games related to the poker deck.
7.5. Super Odds Gaming chips can only be exchanged at the Cash Desks for their nominal face value.
7.6. In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Hippodrome Casino will be considered final.
7.7. The Hippodrome Casino reserves the right to modify, alter, discontinue or terminate the Super Odds Gaming chip promotion at any time for any reason whatsoever without notice to players.
7.8. The Hippodrome Casino accepts no responsibility for chips lost or damaged/altered by the customer.
7.9. Super Odds Gaming chips are non-transferrable.

8. MEMBERSHIP LEVELS

8.1. There are 5 levels in the Programme;
Gold: 0 – 999 Membership level credits
Diamond: 1,000 – 4,999 Membership level credits
Platinum: 5,000 – 19,999 Membership level credits
Black: 20,000+ Membership level credits
Tribune (by invitation only)
8.2. Membership level credits are earned within two periods:
January 1st – June 30th
July 1st – December 31st
8.3. Membership level credits will reset to 0 at the beginning of each period.
8.4. Membership level credits are not redeemable.
8.5. Membership level credits can be earned for all tracked slot/electronic machines, roulette, and card tables. Membership level credits are awarded based on average bet, the length of time the customer plays and the games played.
8.6. Accumulation of membership level credits does not include poker deck games or spend on food and beverage.
8.7. Customers will be upgraded once they accrue the required number of membership level credits. If they do not accrue the number of credits for their membership level in the following 6 month period, they will be downgraded at the end of the period according to the number of credits earned in that period.
8.8. Customers who are upgraded will be notified if the customer has given permission to be contacted. If not, Hippodrome Rewards will endeavour to inform a customer on their next visit.
8.9. Customers can collect their new card at any Welcome Desk. Hippodrome Rewards cards will continue to earn rewards points and membership level credits at the customer’s prevailing Programme membership level.
8.10. When a customer is downgraded, they will continue to earn rewards points regardless of the membership level of the card that is in their possession. Redemptions for membership level benefits are based on the customer’s current membership level as stated on the Hippodrome Rewards’ customer management system.
8.11. Hippodrome Rewards reserves the right to downgrade membership levels due to game malfunctions, error of inputting ratings, or any misuse. Hippodrome Rewards reserves the right to downgrade a customer due to misuse of benefits.
8.12. High Value Customer (HVC) Rewards Programme Assessment
8.12.1. In order to be included in a High Value Customer Rewards Programme, a customer must first pass a number of checks which must then be performed on a regular, ongoing basis.
8.12.2. As a minimum these will include the following four key requirements, but will be reviewed over time as technology and understanding improves:
(i) Customers must have passed checks to ensure spend is sustainable.
(ii) Customers must have passed a safer gambling check, taking into account identified at-risk groups or demographics, to ensure that they do not show signs of problem gambling.
(iii) There should be no negative information, available to The Hippodrome, on the customer which would make their inclusion inappropriate.
(iv) Customers must have passed an enhanced Know Your Customer (KYC) check to be sure The Hippodrome has verified the customer’s identity, knows their occupation or profession, and has established where their income is generated from.
8.12.3. This is not to replace the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) positive Source of Funds check but to allow The Hippodrome to have an understanding of the customer’s financial standing.
8.12.4. Once a customer joins a High Value Customer Rewards Programme, they may receive the following additional benefits:
(i) Invitation to hospitality, events, dinners, or other enhanced services.
(ii) Named dedicated CR (Customer Relations) Manager.
(iii) Individualised bonuses, benefits, or gifts.

9. MEMBERSHIP LEVEL REDEMPTIONS

9.1. A customer’s identity must be verified prior to making a redemption.
9.2. No membership level benefits can be exchanged or transferred for cash.
9.3. Membership level benefits are redeemable for the use of the account holder only. Membership benefits are not transferable and cannot be sold or exchanged for financial or personal gain.
9.4. Customers must be currently in the stated membership level to receive that membership level benefit.
9.5. Membership benefits are awarded based on the customer’s current membership level as stated on the Hippodrome Rewards customer management system, not the membership level of the Hippodrome Rewards card in the possession of the customer.
9.6. To receive discounts for food and beverage in The Hippodrome, the customer must present their 9.6. Gold: 10%
Diamond: 15%
Platinum: 20%
Black: 25%

9.7. Food and beverage discounts apply to the customer and up to 3 guests for Gold, Diamond, Platinum and Black card customers. Food and beverage discounts apply to the Tribune member and up to 7 guests.
9.8. The discount does not apply to any tobacco items, Hippodrome merchandise, theatre tickets, or any rewards points redemptions.
9.9. Hippodrome Rewards reserves the right to exclude items from eligibility for redemption by rewards points or from the discount without notice.
9.10. Two annual Seasonal gifts:
(i) Gifts will be reasonable and proportionate to customer’s level of risk;
(ii) Seasonal gifts are awarded and risk assessed in line with the industry code and Gambling Commission guidance (see clause 5.1i to 5.1v);
(iii) Where Super Odds Gaming chips are given, or gifts are purchased for traditional occasions like Christmas or birthdays, it will be subject to a positive comp bucket on the customer’s account. The comp bucket is calculated on the Hippodrome Rewards customer management system;
(iv) Seasonal gifts are not transferable;
(v) Benefit holds no cash value, and alternatives are not permitted
9.11. If a complimentary birthday meal or party is requested;
(i) Customers must contact a Customer Relations Manager (CR) for reservations;
(ii) Subject to availability;
(iii) Must be booked within the birthday month;
(iv) Any payment due, outside of the agreed contribution limit, is the customer’s responsibility
9.12. Complimentary parking is available at Hippodrome Rewards discretion. The offer is only open to customers who have transacted in The Hippodrome during the period of parking voucher validity. To receive complimentary parking, the redemption must be made at The Hippodrome cash desk on the day the parking voucher is requested. Voucher will be in the form of a follow-up ticket issued for Q-Park Chinatown car park only. Depending on the membership level, the customer will receive a voucher for the following complimentary parking:
Diamond: up to 3 hours
Platinum: up to 3 hours
Black: up to 5 hours
Tribune: up to 12 hours
9.13. Any payment due to Q-park due to overstaying, is the customer’s sole responsibility.
9.14. Nothing in these terms and conditions overrides the Q-Parks terms and conditions which are available here.
9.15. Black and Tribune membership level customers are eligible, subject to availability, for a bi-annual shave/haircut/spa treatment. This can be booked through a CR to the value below:
Black: up to £100
Tribune: up to £150
9.16. Customers must provide at 7 least days notice to book treatments.
9.17. Customers must abide by the salon’s terms and conditions, which are sent on confirmation of the appointment.
9.18. Bookings are subject to availability.

10. FLIGHT REDEMPTIONS

10.1. Hippodrome Rewards offers customers reimbursement on flights when they are staying at selected Las Vegas properties or selected worldwide partner casinos as notified from time to time. Customers must present a receipt for air travel for a Hippodrome Rewards organised stay to their CR and will receive a maximum annual reimbursement up to the amounts below:
Platinum: £200
Black: £300
Tribune: £500
10.2. Reimbursement for flights will be made in Super-Odds Gaming chips only.
10.3. Customers can only use this benefit once per calendar year.
10.4. Customers must stay at the designated hotels outlined by the host venue in order to claim their flight redemption, failure to do so will result in any claim to the flight reimbursement being rejected.
10.5. Customers must contact a CR to make a reservation and receive complimentary or discounted room rates.
10.6. Room night credits, food and beverage credits, transportation credits and show ticket credits may not to be substituted or exchanged.

10.7. Discounted room rates and room credit is at the discretion of the host venue.
10.8. The customer must abide by the terms and conditions of the host venue.
10.9. The Hippodrome will not be held responsible for any loss or injury which arises as a result of the customer taking up this membership benefit.
10.10. This membership benefit is subject to availability.
10.11. External partner offer.

11. SPORTING AND EXTERNAL EVENTS

11.1. Invitations to sporting and external events are solely at the discretion of Hippodrome Rewards and are subject to availability.
11.2. Tickets are for the intended account holder use only. Tickets are not transferable and cannot be sold or exchanged for financial or personal gain.
11.3. The Hippodrome does not accept any liability for any losses or injury sustained as a result of attending a sporting event or external event.
11.4. Customers must abide by the terms and conditions of the sporting event and the external venue.

12. MAGIC MIKE LIVE

12.1. Black and Tribune membership level customers have priority access to tickets for Magic Mike Live.
12.2. Tickets are subject to availability.
12.3. Preferential rates may be offered subject to availability.
12.4. Tickets will be withdrawn if the Customer does not hold a valid Hippodrome Rewards membership.
12.5. Magic Mike Live tickets are for the intended account holder use only. Tickets are not transferable and cannot be sold or exchanged for financial or personal gain.

13. USE OF PROGRAMME

13.1. Customers undertake:
(i) To use the Programme for their own personal and private use and will not use the Programme for any commercial purpose.
(ii) Not to use the Programme for any fraudulent, criminal, or unlawful purpose.
(iii) Not to use the Programme for the transmission of any material which is defamatory, blasphemous, racist, offensive, obscene, or otherwise unlawful.
(iv) To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, not to copy, modify, adapt, reverse engineer, decompile, reformat, disclose, transmit, distribute, sell, license, or transfer the Programme or any Programme Content, either in whole or in part, in any way save as expressly provided for in these terms and conditions.
(v) Not to infringe either The Hippodrome’s or any other person’s intellectual property rights, including copyright contained within the Programme and will not delete or amend any copyright or other proprietary notices which may appear therein.
(vi) Not to use the Programme in any way which The Hippodrome, in its absolute discretion, considers objectionable, injurious to its brand or reputation or is otherwise deemed unacceptable.
(vii) Not to use the Programme otherwise than in accordance with these terms and conditions.
(viii) To only use the Programme if they are 18 years old or older.
(ix) Not to share the Programme with anyone under the age of 18 years old.
(x) Have not enrolled into SENSE or self-excluded from any casino within Great Britain.
(xi) That they are not excluded, suspended or barred from The Hippodrome.

14. LIABILITY

14.1. The Hippodrome makes no warranties or representations of any kind in relation to the Programme, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties or conditions of performance, completeness, suitability, safety, timeliness, accuracy, reliability, satisfactory quality and fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, except to the extent it is not possible by applicable law to exclude such things or to the extent such things are expressly contained in these terms and conditions.
14.2. The Hippodrome will not be liable for:
(i) Any technical or access issue, failure, malfunction, or difficulty that might hinder or prevent a customer’s receipt of the Programme.
(ii) Any event which may cause the Programme to be disrupted.
(iii) Any inaccuracy or error within the Programme.
(iv) Any virus, Trojan horse, worm or other malicious or corrupted computer code or data files which may be transmitted as part of the Programme.
14.3. The Hippodrome shall not be liable under or in connection with these terms and conditions for:
(i) Loss of actual or anticipated profit.
(ii) Losses caused by business interruption.
(iii) Loss of goodwill or reputation.
(iv) Any indirect, special, or consequential cost, expense loss or damage, even if such cost, expense loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable or might reasonably have been contemplated by the parties and whether arising from breach of contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise.
14.4. The Hippodrome’s liability under or in connection with its provision of the Programme or these terms and conditions shall be limited to the provision of the Programme.

15. INDEMNITY

15.1. The customer agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless The Hippodrome from and against any and all losses, costs, expenses (including reasonable legal fees), claims, damages and liabilities incurred by The Hippodrome arising out of or in connection with any claim by a third party resulting from the customers use of the Programme or from any violation of these terms and conditions by the customer, save where caused by The Hippodrome’s negligence or breach of these terms and conditions by The Hippodrome.

16. MODIFICATION, SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

16.1. The Hippodrome reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Programme, in whole or in part, at any time with or without notice.
16.2. To repair or maintain the Programme.
16.3. To update, upgrade or amend the Programme from time to time.
16.4. Due to the occurrence of any circumstances beyond The Hippodrome’s reasonable control.
16.5. Where The Hippodrome believes the customer is or may be in breach of these terms and conditions.
16.6. Otherwise, at The Hippodrome’s sole discretion.

17. MISCELLANEOUS

17.1. If any provision of these terms and conditions is held for any reason to be ineffective or unenforceable, this shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision of these terms and conditions or these terms and conditions as a whole.
17.2. No waiver by The Hippodrome shall be construed as a waiver of any proceeding or succeeding breach of any provision.
17.3. No one other than a party to these terms and conditions shall have rights under or in connection with them by virtue of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

18. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

18.1. With respect to any material contained in or accessible via the Programme, all copyright, trademarks, and all other intellectual property rights therein are either owned by The Hippodrome or by the owners of such rights who have licensed such rights to The Hippodrome for use in the Programme.
18.2. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law and subject to the customer’s compliance with these terms and conditions, save for:
(i) Transitory copying or storage.
(ii) For the customers personal private use, no part of the Programme may be copied, stored, used, uploaded, transmitted, or distributed in any form or manner without the prior written consent of The Hippodrome, other than to the extent that such acts cannot be prohibited under applicable law.

19. GOVERNING LAW

19.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the customer and The Hippodrome submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales in respect of any dispute arising under or in relation to them.

20. WHO ARE WE?

20.1. We are Hippodrome Casino Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 05497987.
20.2. Our registered office is at Hippodrome Casino, Cranbourn Street, Leicester Square, London, WC2H 7JH.
20.3. Hippodrome Casino Limited is licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission under account number 29471.
