Hippodrome Rewards Terms & Conditions

1. REGISTRATION

1.1. Membership of The Hippodrome Rewards Programme (the “Programme”) is free. Participation and registration into the Programme is not compulsory or automatic.
1.2. It is the customer’s responsibility to request to join the Programme.
Membership of the Programme is for individual customers only.
1.3. Only one membership to the Programme per customer is permitted. Customers electing to register for membership of the Programme must provide valid photographic identification (either a valid driving licence, a valid passport or a valid government issued ID card), name, address and occupation details that will be recorded on The Hippodrome customer management system.
1.4. By registering to the Programme customers will be asked which promotions they wish to receive marketing materials for and by which format including but not restricted to, email, mail, mobile phone, SMS and telephone. The Hippodrome Newsletter Terms and Conditions are available here.
1.5. It is the customer’s responsibility to notify The Hippodrome Casino of any changes to their personal details, including, but not limited to, their change of name and address and marketing preferences.
1.6. The details of all members of the Programme are kept in files administered by: The Data Controller, Hippodrome Casino Ltd., Cranbourn Street, Leicester Square, London, WC2H 7JH and will be used for the purposes of The Hippodrome Casino only.
1.7. Customers can opt out of the Programme at their written request. Any rewards points or benefits remaining unclaimed will be forfeited.
1.8. Any opted-out customers who rejoin the Programme will not be able to reinstate any previously accrued rewards points at the time of opt out. No rewards points or membership level credits will be earned on any reward transaction during periods of opt-out.
1.9. In the event of customer bankruptcy or insolvency, membership of the Programme will be suspended, and any outstanding rewards points must be redeemed immediately.
1.10. In the event of death, Programme membership will be cancelled, and any outstanding rewards points balance will be forfeited.
1.11. In the event of outstanding monies owed to The Hippodrome Casino by the customer, the Programme benefits may be suspended pending payment of the outstanding debt.
1.12. The Hippodrome Casino reserves the right to deny or withdraw any participation in the Programme or decline a customer’s application.
1.13. The Hippodrome Casino reserves the right to modify or cancel the Programme at any time, for any reason.
1.14. No correspondence will be entered into regarding either the Programme or these terms and conditions. All decisions regarding these terms and conditions lie solely with The Hippodrome Casino, whose decisions are final and binding.

2. PROHIBITED REGISTRATIONS

2.1. Customers under 18 years of age cannot register or participate in the Programme.
2.2. Customers who self-exclude or who are excluded from The Hippodrome Casino, are not eligible to register or participate in the Programme.
2.3. Customers who self-exclude or who are excluded from The Hippodrome Casino will have their Programme membership level, membership level credits and available rewards points balance cancelled.
2.4. Customers who self-exclude from The Hippodrome Casino through SENSE (operated by The National Casino Forum) are not eligible to register or participate in the Programme. Any existing rewards points balance will be cancelled.
2.5. Employees of The Hippodrome Casino are not eligible to register or participate in the Programme.

3. CUSTOMER DATA

3.1. Use of customers data is subject to The Hippodrome Casino’s privacy policy. The customers use of The Hippodrome Casino website is subject to The Hippodrome Casino’s website terms and conditions. Customers use of The Hippodrome Casino Member Application is subject to The Hippodrome Casino’s Member Application terms and conditions.

4. PRE-REGISTRATION

4.1. The Hippodrome Casino may offer facilities for customers to pre-register some of their details remotely in advance.
4.2. Completing a pre-registration does not guarantee acceptance into the Programme.
4.3. Pre-registration data provided must be accurate and true to the best of the customer’s knowledge.
4.4 Unused pre-registration data will be automatically destroyed after 12 months.

5. EARNING POINTS

5.1. Rewards points and membership level credits are awarded subject to system availability.
5.2. Customers must produce their rewards card at the time of visit to earn rewards points and membership level credits.
5.3. Customers can earn rewards points and membership level credits at the gaming tables by handing their card to the dealer when joining a game. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that they hand their rewards card to the dealer when playing table games.
5.4. Rewards points can be accrued on customers tracked table play on the gaming tables and is calculated at the Hippodrome’s sole discretion. Rewards points may be calculated on the basis of actual play and/or on the basis of the customer’s average bet, the length of time the customer plays and the games played.
5.5. To earn reward points and membership level credits for electronic gaming the customer’s reward card must be inserted into the card reader prior to gambling and remain there during play. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the card is inserted correctly in the machine.
5.6. Rewards points and membership level credits will be earned by electronic gaming play, not via buying in and cashing out.
5.7. Rewards points are valid for a maximum period of 13 months from the date that they are awarded.
5.8. Membership level credits are earned between January 1 – June 30 and July 1 – December 31.
5.9. Membership level credits will reset to 0 at the beginning of each period.
5.10. Expired rewards points cannot be reclaimed.
5.11. The Hippodrome Casino reserves the right to vary the level of rewards points awarded at its sole discretion. In exercising this right The Hippodrome shall procure (where points are directly or indirectly concerned with or connected to gaming) that
(i) accrual and redemption shall be proportionate to a members play over a prolonged period of time;
(ii) accrual and redemption is not dependent on a member gambling for a pre-determined length of time or frequency;
(iii) accrual and redemption does not give greater value to reward points accrued over a shorter period of time;
(iv) any increase in points linked to spend is proportionate; and
(v) any accrual or redemption connected to ancillary benefits (e.g. subsidised travel or accommodation) is not directly related to the members level of gaming.
5.12. In the event of a dispute; The Hippodrome Casino’s decision will be final and binding.
5.13. Rewards points and membership level credits cannot be added retrospectively.
5.14. The Hippodrome Casino reserves the right to adjust a rewards points account due to computer error, machine malfunction, operator error, fraud or other misuse.
5.15. Prize draw rewards points will automatically be credited to a customer’s account.
5.16. Rewards points and membership level credits can only be earned and redeemed at The Hippodrome Casino.
5.17. The benefits of the Programme are intended for the sole use of the person registered as the account holder.
5.18. Points can be earned for all tracked slot/electronic machines, roulette and card tables, restaurant, bar and entertainment excluding the purchase of tickets for Magic Mike Live.
5.19. The Hippodrome Casino will endeavour to track customer play as accurately as possible but accepts no liability for any errors however so caused. The Hippodrome’s decision regarding rewards points awarded will be final.
5.20. Rewards points cannot be earned or redeemed whilst the customer is in breach of the Programme’s terms and conditions.
5.21. The Hippodrome Casino reserves the right to suspend or cancel rewards points if it is found that the customer is in breach of its terms and conditions.
5.22. The Hippodrome Casino reserves the right to suspend the right to redeem rewards points or use membership benefits if the customer has an outstanding debt.
5.23. Rewards points will be forfeited if an account is dormant for 6 months.
5.24. Membership level credits can be earned for all tracked slot/electronic machines, roulette and card tables. Membership level credits are awarded based on average bet, the length of time the customer plays and the games played.
5.25. The Hippodrome reserves the right to vary the rate at which reward points and membership level points are awarded at its sole discretion.
5.26. All benefits and rewards are subject to availability.
5.27. Rewards points and benefits are non-transferable.
5.28. At its sole discretion, The Hippodrome Casino may separately reward selected players money, goods, services or other advantage proportionate to the type and level of their gambling.

6. POINTS REDEMPTION

6.1. A customer’s identity must be verified prior to making any redemption.
6.2. No Reward points can be exchanged or transferred for cash.
6.3. Membership level credits are not redeemable. Customers can redeem their rewards points for Table Gaming, Slots, Food, Beverage, Entertainment and Gifts.
6.4. The Hippodrome Casino reserves the right to refuse a rewards points redemption whilst the account is under investigation.
6.5. Rewards points redemptions for food, beverage, entertainment and gifts are subject to availability.
6.6. Orders may take up to 28 days to be delivered.
6.7. Customers must have sufficient loyalty points available to make redemptions.
6.8. Refunds or exchanges are at the sole discretion of The Hippodrome Casino.
6.9. Opened or damaged items will not be refunded or exchanged.
6.10. Orders for merchandise must be placed through a CR host.
6.11. The Hippodrome Casino reserves the right to amend or change Programme redemptions at any time.
6.12. Any rewards that are redeemed and are subsequently lost are the sole responsibility of the customer.
6.13. Slots redemption tickets are eligible for play on any slot machine.
6.14. Should a Slots redemption ticket become defaced or lost it cannot be replaced.
6.15. The Hippodrome Casino cannot be held responsible for, or have any liability for, third party products and services.

7. MEMBERSHIP LEVELS

7.1. There are 5 levels in the Programme;
Gold – 0 – 999 Membership level credits
Diamond – 1000 – 4999 Membership level credits
Platinum – 5000 – 19999 Membership level credits
Black – 20000+ Membership level credits
Tribune (by invitation only)
7.2. Membership level credits are earned January 1 – June 30 and July 1 – December 31.
7.3 Customers will be upgraded once they accrue the required number of membership level credits. If they do not accrue the number of credits for their membership level in the following 6 month period, they will be downgraded at the end of the period according to the number of credits earned in that period.
7.4. Membership level credits will reset to 0 at the beginning of each period.
7.5. Customers who are upgraded will be notified if the customer has given permission to be contacted. If not, The Hippodrome will endeavour to inform a customer on their next visit. Customers can collect their new card at reception. Cards will continue to earn rewards points and membership level credits at the customers prevailing membership level.
7.6. When a customer is downgraded, they will earn rewards points at their current level regardless of the level of the card that is in their possession. Redemptions for membership level benefits are based on the customer’s current level.
7.7. Hippodrome reserves the right to downgrade membership levels due to game malfunctions, error of inputting ratings, or any misuse. The Hippodrome reserves the right to downgrade a customer due to misuse of benefits.

8. MEMBERSHIP LEVEL REDEMPTIONS

8.1. A customer’s identity must be verified prior to making a redemption
8.2. No membership level benefits can be exchanged or transferred for cash.
8.3. Customers must be currently in the stated membership level to receive that membership level benefit.
8.4. Benefits are awarded based on the customer’s current membership level, not the membership level of the card in the possession of the customer.
8.5. To receive discounts for food and beverage in The Hippodrome, the customer must present their card at time of purchase to receive the following discounts:
Gold – 10%
Diamond – 15%
Platinum – 20%
Black – 25%
Tribune – 25%
8.6. Food and beverage discounts apply to the customer and up to 3 guests for Gold, Diamond, Platinum and Black card customers. Food and beverage discounts apply to the Tribune member and up to 7 guests.
8.7. The discount does not apply to any tobacco items.
8.8. The Hippodrome reserves the right to exclude other items from eligibility for redemption by points or from the discount without notice.
8.9. To receive a complimentary birthday party, customers must contact a Customer Relations (“CR”) host for reservations up to membership level contribution limit as follows:
Platinum – up to £250
Black – up to £500
Tribune – up to £1,000
Complimentary birthday parties are subject to availability.
8.10. Complimentary parking is available at the Hippodrome’s discretion. The offer is only open to customers who have transacted in The Hippodrome during the period of parking voucher validity. To receive a voucher for complimentary parking, the redemption must be made at the Hippodrome Casino cash desk on the day the parking voucher is requested. Vouchers are issued for Q-Park China Town car park only. Depending on their membership level, the customer will receive a voucher for the following complimentary parking:
Diamond – up to 3 hours
Platinum – up to 3 hours
Black – up to 5 hours
Tribune – up to 12 hours
8.11. Any payment due to Q-park due to overstaying, is the customer’s sole responsibility
8.12. Nothing in these terms and conditions overrides the Q-Parks terms and conditions which are available here.
8.13. Black and Tribune level customers are eligible, subject to availability, for a bi-annual haircut/manicure/spa day. This can be booked through their CR host to the value below:
Black – up to£150
Tribune – up to £150
8.14. Customers must provide at 7 least days notice to book treatments.
8.18. Members must abide by the salon’s terms and conditions.
8.19. Bookings are subject to availability.

9. FLIGHT REDEMPTIONS

9.1. The Hippodrome Casino offers customers reimbursement on flights when they are staying at The D Las Vegas and The Ocean Atlantic City. Customers must present a receipt for air travel for a Hippodrome Casino organised stay at The D or The Ocean to their CR host and will receive annual reimbursement up to the amounts below:
Diamond – £100
Platinum – £200
Black – £300
Tribune – £500
9.2. Reimbursement for flights will be made in super-odds Gaming Chips.
9.3. Customers can only use this benefit once per calendar year.
9.4. Customers must stay at the designated hotels in order to claim their flight redemption.
9.5. Customers must contact a CR host to make a reservation and receive complimentary or discounted room rates.
9.6. Discounted room rates and room credit is at the discretion of The D and The Ocean. Typical room rates are shown below:

9.9. All rooms requests are based upon availability. Neither room availability nor specific hotel availability is inferred and should be assumed by the customer.
9.10. The customer must abide by the terms and conditions of the host venue.
9.11. The Hippodrome Casino will not be held responsible for any loss or injury which arises as a result of the customer taking up this benefit.
9.12. This membership benefit is subject to availability.

10. SPORTING AND EXTERNAL EVENTS

10.1. Invitations to sporting and external events are solely at the discretion of The Hippodrome Casino and are subject to availability.
10.2. The Hippodrome Casino does not accept any liability for any losses or injury sustained as a result of attending a sporting event or external event.
10.3. Customers must abide by the terms and conditions of the sporting event and the external venue.

11. MAGIC MIKE LIVE

11.1. Black and Tribune cardholders have priority access to tickets for Magic Mike Live.
11.2. Tickets are not guaranteed and are subject to availability.
11.3. Preferential rates may be offered subject to availability.
11.4. Tickets will be withdrawn if the Customer does not hold a valid membership.

12. USE OF PROGRAMME

12.1. Customers undertake:
a. to use the Programme for their own personal and private use and will not use the Programme for any commercial purpose
b. not to use the Programme for any fraudulent, criminal or unlawful purpose
c. not to use the Programme for the transmission of any material which is defamatory, blasphemous, racist, offensive, obscene or otherwise unlawful
d. to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, not to copy, modify, adapt, reverse engineer, decompile, reformat, disclose, transmit, distribute, sell, license or transfer the Programme or any Programme Content, either in whole or in part, in any way save as expressly provided for in these terms and conditions
e. not to infringe either Hippodrome Casino’s or any other person’s intellectual property rights, including copyright contained within the Programme and will not delete or amend any copyright or other proprietary notices which may appear therein
f. not to use the Programme in any way which Hippodrome Casino, in its absolute discretion, considers objectionable, injurious to its brand or reputation or is otherwise deemed unacceptable
g. not to use the Programme otherwise than in accordance with these terms and conditions
h. to only use the Programme if they are 18 years old or older
i. not to share the Programme with anyone under the age of 18 years old
j. that they have not self-excluded from any casino within Great Britain
k. that they are not excluded from the Hippodrome Casino

13. LIABILITY

13.1 The Hippodrome Casino makes no warranties or representations of any kind in relation to the Programme, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties or conditions of performance, completeness, suitability, safety, timeliness, accuracy, reliability, satisfactory quality and fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, except to the extent it is not possible by applicable law to exclude such things or to the extent such things are expressly contained in these terms and conditions.
13.2 The Hippodrome Casino will not be liable for:
a. any technical or access issue, failure, malfunction or difficulty that might hinder or prevent a customer’s receipt of the Programme
b. any event which may cause the Programme to be disrupted
c. any inaccuracy or error within the Programme
d. any virus, Trojan horse, worm or other malicious or corrupted computer code or data files which may be transmitted as part of the Programme
13.3 The Hippodrome Casino shall not be liable under or in connection with these terms and conditions for:
a. loss of actual or anticipated profit
b. losses caused by business interruption
c. loss of goodwill or reputation
d. any indirect, special or consequential cost, expense loss or damage, even if such cost, expense loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable or might reasonably have been contemplated by the parties and whether arising from breach of contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise.
13.4 The Hippodrome Casino’s liability under or in connection with its provision of the Programme or these terms and conditions shall be limited to the provision of the Programme.

14. INDEMNITY

14.1 The Customer agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless The Hippodrome Casino from and against any and all losses, costs, expenses (including reasonable legal fees), claims, damages and liabilities incurred by The Hippodrome Casino arising out of or in connection with any claim by a third party resulting from the customers use of the Programme or from any violation of these terms and conditions by the customer, save where caused by The Hippodrome Casino’s negligence or breach of these terms and conditions by The Hippodrome Casino.

15. MODIFICATION, SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

15.1 The Hippodrome Casino reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Programme, in whole or in part, at any time with or without notice
a. to repair or maintain the Programme
b. to update, upgrade or improve the Programme from time to time
c. due to the occurrence of any circumstances beyond The Hippodrome Casino’s reasonable control
d. where The Hippodrome Casino believes the customer is or may be in breach of these terms and conditions
e. otherwise, at The Hippodrome Casino’s sole discretion

16. MISCELLANEOUS

16.1 If any provision of these terms and conditions is held for any reason to be ineffective or unenforceable, this shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision of these terms and conditions or these terms and conditions as a whole.
16.2 No waiver by The Hippodrome Casino shall be construed as a waiver of any proceeding or succeeding breach of any provision.
16.3 No one other than a party to these terms and conditions shall have rights under or in connection with them by virtue of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

17. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

17.1 With respect to any material contained in or accessible via the Programme, all copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights therein are either owned by The Hippodrome Casino or by the owners of such rights who have licensed such rights to The Hippodrome Casino for use in the Programme.
17.2 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law and subject to the customer’s compliance with these terms and conditions, save for:
(i) transitory copying or storage and
(ii) for the customers personal private use, no part of the Programme may be copied, stored, used, uploaded, transmitted or distributed in any form or manner without the prior written consent of The Hippodrome Casino, other than to the extent that such acts cannot be prohibited under applicable law.

18. GOVERNING LAW

18.1 These terms and conditions are governed by English law and the customer and The Hippodrome Casino submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in respect of any dispute arising under or in relation to them.
