Tom Read Wilson

Tom Read Wilson was born in Berkshire on the twelfth of November, 1986.He grew up as the son, grandson and great-grandson of teachers at Bradfield College and later moved to nearby Pangbourne College. When the college needed younger cast members than the secondary school could provide for their school plays, Tom would join the company. This happened with South Pacific, and Rodgers and Hammerstein left an indelible impression.

Now stage-struck, Tom went on to study at Rose Bruford College where a benevolent teacher, who also taught at The Royal Academy of Music, recommended their Musical Theatre Course. Tom went there in 2010 and that year met his future teacher, one the operatic tenors.

Since leaving The Royal Academy of Music in 2011, Tom has performed all over the world: In pantomime as the evil fairy Firena in Sleeping Beauty (Wellingborough Castle Theatre), as the Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland (Madinat Theatre, Dubai), as the eponymous Cat in The Hat (Everyman Theatre, Cork, The Palace Theatre, Manchester, The Hull Truck, The Watford Colosseum), in concert with The Fingask Follies (Fingask Castle, Perth, Chelsea Arts Club, London) and, most recently, as Bill in Sweet Revenge (Theatre Royal Windsor).

Tom currently resides in London, England. He is now one of the main stars of the hit E4 show ” Celebs Go Dating “. The show has gone on to be one of the biggest celebrity themed TV shows in the UK, and Tom has been described as the nation’s sweetheart. Tom is now a regular and a part of Big Brother’s Bit On The Side and is working towards his first own book about his life and career.
