A celebrated New York event since 2010, the BroadwayWorld & Bistro Award-winning series Sondheim Unplugged makes its way across the pond for one night only! Sondheim Unplugged delves into the musical world of Broadway’s master composer. Tunes from A Little Night Music, Company, Into the Woods, Follies, Passion, Dick Tracy & more adorn this tribute to the man behind such tunes as Send in the Clowns, Being Alive, Broadway Baby, Losing My Mind & Comedy Tonight. This special London edition will feature not only some of the West End’s most acclaimed voices, but very special guest star Sarah Rice, who created the role of Johanna in the original Broadway production of Sweeney Todd! A currently-running hit show at NYC’s leading nightspot, Feinstein’s/54 Below, Sondheim Unplugged is hosted by series creator Phil Geoffrey Bond, who humorously fills the audience in on Sondheimien facts, history, & assorted tidbits of theatrical lore!
