Player Or Banker?

The dealer draws two cards for the Player (Punto) and the Bank (Banco). The values of the two cards in each hand are added together. Cards 2-9 have their numerical value, 10 or picture cards have a value of 0 and Aces have a value of 1. The nearest to 9 is the winning hand.

How To Play

Place your bets on either the Player or the Banker’s hand.

To bet both hands will have the same total, place your bet in the égalité box.

Two cards each are dealt to both the Player and the Banker.

If either side has a total of 8 or 9 on the initial deal, this is a Natural winner and the hand is over. Otherwise, the player stands on 6 or 7 or draws a third card if their total is 0 – 5. Bank will draw a 3rd card depending on the player’s 3rd card, as shown in the Drawing Rules table below.

We offer two types of Baccarat, Traditional and Commission-Free.

Traditional – All winning bank bets are paid 19/20.

Commission-Free – All winning bank bets are paid 1/1, unless the bank wins with a score of 6, then the winning bet is paid 1/2.

In both games, winning Player bets are paid 1/1 and winning Égalité bets (Any Tie) are paid 9/1.

UR Way Égalité

You can also bet on a specific numbered tie or “UR Way Égalité”.
The individual winning égalité wagers are paid as shown in the table below:

0123456789
150/1215/1225/1200/1120/1110/145/145/180/180/1

All wagers must be within the specified minimums and maximums displayed at the table.

Partnerships with a view to exceeding the maximum stake shall not be permitted.

Three Giving Eight (3G8)

3G8 is an optional wager. If the Bank has a total of 3 after the initial deal and the Player receives an 8 as the 3rd card all 3G8 bets will be paid 200/1.

Touching The Cards

Normally, the Dealer will turn the cards for each hand of Baccarat. At The Hippodrome, we offer the option of turning them yourself, bringing an extra interactive element to the game! If you would like to play this style, ask to speak to a Gaming Manager.
